The Grounds at Trevornick

We continually win awards in the Newquay in Bloom annual competition. Trevornick has a dedicated gardening team. We have an environmental policy and have been undergoing a long-term schedule of tree planting and landscape improvement. The building of over 300 metres of Cornish stone hedging to enhance terraced pitches has provided considerable new wildlife habitat.

Our fishing ponds have been re-designated as a nature area, we have reduced mowing of pond perimeters and boundaries down to only that required in order to maintain health and safety and planted indigenous wild plants and flowers in verges and boundary hedges.

Providing and maintaining a path through the park to the beach also enhances the landscape and minimises erosion of the surrounding areas.
